The Breakfast Sandwich

While we are on the topic of breakfast foods, I may as well share my favorite breakfast creation - the breakfast sandwich.  Although not a radically new idea, it is surprisingly fun to create.

My version consists of two pieces of white bread (preferably) toasted, one or two fried eggs, and bacon.  In general the addition of more ingredients decreases the viability of a food because it increases the chance of someone not liking or being allergic to one of the ingredients.  Here is a poorly drawn graph to illustrate:

The breakfast sandwich is therefore an anomaly in the world of culinary masterpieces.  It stands out as a food that manages to include a dangerously high number of ingredients (3) and still maintain the best qualities of the individual parts.

Here is an improperly focused picture of the breakfast sandwich:

Unfortunately Wonkavision doesn't exist yet and you cannot grab the sandwich from your screen, but they do taste better when you make them yourself (given, of course, that you are a capable human being and know how to fry an egg).
