Flavored Ice

Sodas in restaurants often come with a lot of ice.  Usually more ice than the actual drink itself.  Ice is a great way to keep drink cool because it is cheap and keeps the drink at a constant temperature.  As the ice melts, however, the drink becomes more and more dilute, until you reach the bottom where (if given enough time) it is more water than it is soda.

To avoid this problem, ice should be flavored according to the drink.  If someone orders Pepsi, for example, frozen Pepsi cubes should be added, not pure ice.  This would have the most impact on drinks such as milk.  Milk is great cold, and gets nasty when warm.  However, dilute milk is awful as well.  Solution: milk ice cubes!  Not only will the flavor maintain consistency, but the temperature will as well.
