When peeling clementines, the goal should be to remove the entire peel in one piece. If you are a true clementine-peeling-extrodinaire, you might be able to remove the little stringy parts that go through the center as well, all attached to the outside peel.
Whenever I peel clementines, I manage to get some of the juice spray in my eyes. Even when I hold it away from myself, the spray manages to find my eye every time. With my luck I don't think I should ever work in a chemistry laboratory.
