The worst part about car trips is the rear-end pain that develops after the third hour of driving. Adjusting your position is usually futile, as it is hard to sit awkwardly on the chair and drive at the same time.
My solution is the rotating car seat. This car seat would be able to move up and down in all directions, providing a variety of new seat angles. These new angles would apply pressure to different parts of your bum and relive stress from other parts. The rotating car seat takes full advantage of the total rear-end surface area to minimize pain and driving fatigue.
It could also be used in airplanes.
